COVID-19 RESPONSE

Health Plan HIGHLIGHTS
Students, staff and visitors will adhere to the following:
  • Social Distancing
    1. Persons will maintain 6 feet of separation unless all parties are wearing PPE (cloth face coverings, disposable masks, or facial shields).
    2.  Desks in classrooms and seats in lunch room will be spaced 6 feet apart.
    3. Group events will be limited in size and frequency - Preschool will not participate in Chapel and Morning Assembly.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation
    1. Anyone seeking admittance into the building will be required to use hand sanitizer.
    2. Teachers will schedule hand washing breaks throughout the day and encourage the frequent use of hand sanitizer.
    3. The facility will be cleaned and disinfected throughout the day. High-touch surfaces will be sanitized often.
  • Use of Cloth face coverings/masks/ shields
    1. Everyone entering the building must wear PPE. We will provide disposable masks when needed.
    2. Students and staff are required to wear face coverings when in hallways and common areas or when unable to maintain 6 feet of distance from others.
    3. Masks are not required when outdoors, while eating, in classrooms (while 6 feet separation is being observed), or while participating in physical activity such as PE or recess.
  • Additional Considerations
    1. Persons entering the building must have a temperature that does not exceed 100 degrees verified by staff.
    2. Students may not share any items (toys, books, school supplies, etc.) unless sanitized by a staff member.
    3. Students wishing to share food brought from home must bring only items purchased from a store that are individually wrapped.
    4. The only authorized use of drinking fountains is for the purpose of refilling water bottles.
    5. Those manifesting symptoms of illness are asked to stay home and monitor their health.
    6. Parents are asked to use the drop off lines and remain in vehicles except for extenuating circumstances.
