What Others Say About MCCA...
"The teachers are so wonderful and nice. They are always willing to help in any way they can. They always want the best for you and nothing less. They help with spiritual things too, not just educational. They are willing to talk to anyone who needs help or encouragement. The education is great and it offers a challenge to learn. It is nice having a Christian education. Being able to learn more about God everyday while learning about the world and advancing our education is always a blessing."
- Troy Hasse, Class of 2018
"The biggest thing that stands out at MCCA to me is the staff. They are all there because the Lord called them to be there, and it shows in their words and actions in and out of the classroom. They have been such a help and guidance for me from life's smallest to biggest decisions. Even after I have graduated, they are still there to help any time!"
- Isaac Stroupe, Class of 2019
"One of the best decisions I have made in my life was the decision to send my girls to MCCA. Not only does the entire staff make you feel welcome but they truly care. There are no labeled groups, the high school students all the way down to the preschool students know one another by name. My girls are sad they can't go to school on Saturdays. No child gets left behind. With the small classes they are able to give every child the one on one attention they need and deserve. There are no favorite teachers. All the students love all the teachers. The best part is while my girls are learning academically they are also building a firm foundation and relationship with The Lord. While the world is teaching worldly ways MCCA is teaching our students the biblical ways. From our three pastors down you can simply feel the love they put into the students"

"...Without the knowledge and guidance that was provided by the MCCA staff, it would be difficult to determine what my life would be like today. I am in debt to all the selfless individuals who represent Mt. Carmel Christian Academy."
-Corporal Aaron Cubbage, Page County Sheriff's Dept
"MCCA prepared me academically and physically for the United States Merchant Marine Academy, which accepts only 250 students a year from the entire nation and then only graduates one third of those. The school requires peak performance physically and mentally. The sports programs at MCCA helped me develop the physical strength and stamina I needed, as well as the focus to live a healthy life and stay in shape. The teachers and academic program prepared me to excel in an engineering program as one of the top in the class. Academic competitions and science fairs generated thought development. MCCA helped me develop into the Christian man I am today. Without the prayers and support of teachers and coaches who genuinely care about the character and spirituality of the students, I have no idea where I'd be today. I am still building on those spiritual foundations as I continue to walk with my God and teach those foundations to others."
-Lieutenant Jared DeMeritt, nuclear engineer for Northup Grumman, assistant minister to young singles, and captain of the Newport news Rugby team
"Mt. Carmel was my home away from home. My teachers cared for each and every one of their students and wanted what was best for each of us, not just academically, but spiritually. I loved the family atmosphere!"
